Jiang Zemin's thought of establishing a socialist political civilization is the continuation,development and innovation of Deng Xiaoping's theory of buiding socialist material and spiritual civilization.It contains the following aspects:(1)regarding political civilization as an important component of three aspects of social civilization;(2)defining the three strong props of establishing a socialist political civilization:leadership by the Party,the people being the masters of the country,and ruling the country by law;(3)expounding the principles to be followed in establishing a socialist political civilization:going on steadily and surely with political restructuring,proceeding from our national conditions and at the same time learning from the achievements of political civilization of mankind,and ensuring that socialist political civilization is institutionalized and standardized and has its procedures.
