如何区分外交学与国际关系学之间的关系是外交学发展中的一个难以回避的问题。在国际关系学发展兴盛的今天,外交是否有成学的必要,以及能否成学,是外交学人必须回答的问题。本文试从成为“学科”的必要条件、中国外交学发展的现状、外交学与国际关系学的区别和联系等方面,探讨中国外交学发展的主要问题和任务。

The Current State of Diplomatic Study and the Main Problems

What are the relationship and differences between Diplomacy and International Relations? This is a question the diplomacy discipline must address. Under the aureola of the “powerful” International Relations, Diplomacy researchers must give sufficient reasons for establishing Diplomacy as a discipline. This article aims at discussing the major problems and main tasks for future development of Diplomatic study in China, analyzing the essential conditions for establishing such a discipline, the current state of Diplomatic study in China and relations between the two kinds of studies.
