| 摘 要： | 从功能主义的角度,对以归化为主的张译本《苔丝》和以异化为主的孙译本《苔丝》进行了分析。通过分析可以看出,两个译本都很好地实现了翻译目的,但是两个译本各有各的缺陷。归化和异化是实现翻译目的的手段,只要能更好地实现翻译目的,更有利于读者的接受和欣赏,归化和异化都可以用,两者结合是实现翻译目的的最佳途径。

| Abstract: | This paper tries to analyze foreignization and domestication from the perspective of functional theory.The conflict between foreignizafion and domestication has a long history;this paper puts these two strategies in the forma- tion of functional theory,and draws a conclusion that no matter foreignization or domestication is good if it can reach the translation aim. |
