On the Great Revolution of France: Achievements, Limitation and the Causes

The rich historical intension of the great revolution of France cannot be summar ized by the simple conclusion of "bourgeois democratic revolution". The notab le feature of the revolution was the concern about equality and the negligence o f freedom. The achievements and limitation can derive from the causes. The cause of the feature was the definite social economic condition: the old system with its extreme unequality led to the concern overcorrectly; the masses taking the l ead from beginning to end deepened the preference for equality in the revolution .
