中国不存在“现代主义”和“后现代主义”艺术

文章分析了西方现代主义、后现代主义产生、发展的前提、基础、状况,认为中国所谓的现代主义的基础和前提与西方现代艺术产生的基础和背景完全不同,由此决定了中国艺术不应该也不可能走完全相同的西方现代艺术之路,从中国当前的状况来看,还是以"中国当代艺术"或"前卫艺术"指代更为恰当.

The non-existance of modernism and post modernism in China

The paper analyses the birth,the premise,the basis and the situation of the development of both Western modernism and post modernism.The author holds that the basis and the premise of so-called Chinese modernism are quite different from those of Western moernism.It can be concluded that Chinese art should not follow the same way of Western modern art.Considering the present situation of China,it is more appropriate to regard Chinese art as contemporary art or Vanguard art.
