| Abstract: | European Human Rights Court, being called the apotheosis of regional human rights protection, has always been confronted with some problems. Though it experienced a fundamental reform in 1998, the arising new problems caused another reform in 2004. The academic circle has made certain studies on European Human Rights Court, but they are mainly on its history, reasons and contents, rarely on the political interests behind the reforms. This paper briefly reviewed its history and the contents of the 2004 reform and then emphasized on the clarification of the political gaming behind the reform. |
