翻译研究与比较文学之关系管窥

比较文学在欧美已有一百多年的历史，其间．翻译研究一直处于从属的地位。1993年．苏珊·巴斯奈特提出了一个振聋发聩的新论：翻译研究已成为一门主学科，而比较文学则变为其附属领域。在中国，比较文学仍然是门显学，翻译研究也日益受到重视。基于此，文章简要追溯了比较文学与翻译研究的历史关系、比较文学的危机之争和理论之战，探讨了巴斯奈特之新论的理论根据，从中发挖掘一些对中国比较文学和翻译研究有益的启示。

On the Relation Between Translation Studies and Comparative Literature

Comparative literature is a discipline in Europe and America and has experienced its high tide since its foundation, during which translation studies have been treated as an accessory. In 1993 Susan Bassnett declared that translation studies should he regarded as a principal discipline, with comparative literature a valued but subsidiary subject area. Putting all this into account, the authors briefly trace the historical relationship between comparative literature and translation studies, review the debates over the crisis and over the theories in the circle of comparative literature, and then explore the theoretical foundation of Bassnett＇s view, in the hope of benefiting both comparative literature and translation studies in China.
