试论技术理性及其批判

技术理性是人类理性的特殊的、综合的和典型的形式,是人类多种理性的某种合取,是一种追求合理性、规范性、有效性、功能性、理想性和条件性的人类智慧和能力,是一种扎根于人类物质需求及人对自然界永恒依赖的实践理性和技术精神。技术理性批判是对技术理性片面发展的批判,而不是对它的一般批判,更不是对其简单否定或抛弃。准确把握技术理性必须辩证地理解技术实践的二重性特征,应把技术理性与其构成要素区别开来,其完善与建构应在技术与人文和道德的互动中展开。

Technological Reason and Critique of It

Technological reason is a special, comprehensive and typical human cognition combining several reasonable thoughts together to pursue rationality, normality, validity, functionality, ideality and conditionality. As a human intellect or ability, it is a practical reason or technological spirit based on human demand for materials which are relying on the nature forever. The critique of technological reason is just to criticize its one-sided development and doesn't mean a general one, much less denying or discarding it simply. In order to understand it properly, it should be characterized dialectically with the duality of technological practice and distinguished from its constituents. Technological reason should be constructed and perfected in the interaction among technology, humanity and morality.
