THe Relationship between Yi-ology and Historigraphy in the Han Dynasty

In the Han Dynasty, the historiography came into a new phase of development, obtaining splendid achievements. At the same time, the Yi-ology also got a quick development and influenced the historiography deeply. The famous historians such as Lu Jia, Sima Qian, Ban Gu, and Xun Yue were greatly edified by the Yi-ology. Their historical works contained abundant ideas of the Zhou-yi. The Yi-ology provided abundant theories for the historiography. In reverse, the development of the historiography promoted the wide spreading of the Yi-ology. The Yi-ology and the historiography brought out the best in each other and reflected mutually, which pushed forward the development of academics during the Han Dynasty.
