| Abstract: | Marxist theory on social development is a scientific holism. Historical materialism becomes theory on social development in general level. Marxist theory on oriental society becomes theory on social development in individual level. In this theory on oriental society, specifically at his old age (1871 - 1883), Marx researched on how oriental society develops to "the history of world" (globalization), etc. In the object, oriental society in Marxism equalizes the third world in modern theory on social development. Marxist studying method in theory on oriental society, reflects the demands of modern theory on social development. The foundation of modern theory on social development is established by which Marxist principle about dialectical relationship between multiplicity and unity in the process of social development. Therefore theory on social development has its beginning in Marxist theory on oriental society. |
