荀子批判理论与西方诠释学

与西方的施莱尔马赫或加达默尔所构建的诠释学体系相比较，荀子的批判理论可谓既符合诠释学的一般标准，又具备自身的独有特质。荀子及施莱尔马赫等人均认为主观成见的存在是诱发误读的根源，但他们避免误读、处理成见的方式却各有差异；同时他们还都相信，任何理解活动的开展都离不开某种正当成见的参与，但对于这种正当成见的规定，各家也不相同。荀子理论系统中的正当成见是其所谓“道”，虚一而静是理解者确立“道”的具体方式。在诠释《诗》、《书》典籍和百家之言的过程中，荀子实践了他的批判理论。

Xun Zi's Theory of Criticism and Western Hermeneutics

If Schleiermacher＇ s hermeneutics and Gadarner＇ s hermeneutics are regarded as reference systems, Xun Zi＇ s theory of criticism accords with the generic criterion of Hermeneutics and has its own particularities. All of them thought that the prejudices＇ existence is the root of misapprehension, but their methods of avoiding misapprehension are different. They all believed that any annotation can＇ t be off certain proper prejudices, but there is some disagreement among them on what the proper prejudices are. For Xun Zi the proper prejudice is Tao and Xuyierjing is the approach that individual radicates Tao. When Xun Zi interpreted the doctrines of various schools and the sutras such as the Book of Songs and the Book of History , he pdt his theory of criticism into practice.
