黄式三对于王阳明学术思想的认识

黄式三(1789-1862),字薇香,号儆居子,浙江定海紫微人,晚清知名学者.其认为王阳明本人的学术思想卓然可立,但因为思想形式过于简略,思想态度过于自信,以至天资不足的后学流于空谈狂妄.因而不认同王阳明对朱熹的批评,斥责阳明后学的思想弊不胜言.黄式三为清代实学一脉的代表人物之一,由此可知该学派对王阳明思想的认识为阳明后学的流弊所蔽,未能认识到"敬"、"诚"是先秦儒家"礼"和"仁"的精神内核,而王阳明的"良知"说又是对"敬"、"诚"精神的继承和发展.

Huang Shisan's Understanding of Wang Yangming's Academic Thoughts

Huang Shisan(1789-1862), styled Wei Xiang, also known by his literary name Jing Juzit, born in Ziwei, Dinghai District, Zhejiang Province, was a renowned scholar in the late Qing Dynasty. He held the view that Wang Yangming's academic thought was outstanding but was brief in forms and his attitude was overconfident. The result is that his thoughts became the bluffing of the untalented scholars. Therefore, he was opposed to Wang Yangming's criticism against Zhu Xi and denounced that post-Wang Yangming's thoughts had numerous disadvantages. As Huang Shisan was the representative of the school of real learning in the Qing Dynasty, therefore, it can inferred that this school failed to have a correct understanding of Wang Yangming's thoughts and didn't recognize the fact that "respect" and "honesty" are the core sprit of the pre-Qin Confucianism and Wang's thoughts of "benevolence" and "conscience" are actually the inheritance and development of "respect" and "honesty".
