论英语话语风格的性别差异及其根源

随着社会语言学的发展,语言与性别的研究已成为该领域的重要研究课题,近年来,该研究已经由词汇层面的性别差异转向话语风格方面的性别差异研究,很多研究发现,男女在话语量、话轮控制、打断话头三个方面的差异有悖于前人的研究结论,因为所有的话语交流都是环境的产物,话语风格跟诸如年龄、社会地位、社会角色等因素有关。造成语言性别差异的原因众说纷纭,但一个根本的原因是语言社会化过程:家庭、学校、同龄交往。了解这种差异对跨性别交际很有帮助。

On the Gender Difference of English Speech Style and its Cause
