| Abstract: | By analyzing Shen Congwen's periods of living in Western Hunan and big cities,this paper points out that under the collision between Western Hunan civilization and city civiliza-tion,Shen Congwen had his ideal of reconstructing the national quality,hoping that the integration of the two civilizations would help to create a big and powerful nation. |
