科学精神与人文精神的文化比较——现代新儒家"体用观"内核之思考

现代新儒家是指在“五四”新文化运动以来 ,为接续儒家学说道统、回应西方文化挑战而产生的东方文化意识流派。其代表人物在科学与民主强烈冲击中国传统文化的历史浪潮下 ,对科学精神与人文精神的文化进行了比较研究 ,并做出了独特而又深邃的诠释 ,形成了自成体系的“体用观”。这种“体用观”因其明显失衡而多遭非难 ,但亦因其丰富而瑰丽的人文思致而倍受学界瞩目。

Culture Comparison between Science Spirit and Humanity Spirit--Reflection on the Kernel of"The Theory of the Fundamentals and the Incidentals"in Chinese Contemporary New Confucianism

The contemporary new Confucianism refers to the eastern culture and consciousness genres which timely appears to continue the Confucianism and responds to the western cultural challenge after the "New Culture Movement".Under the historical impact between the science and democracy on Chinese traditional culture and in the comparison between science spirit and humanity spirit, the typical respresentative figures made unique and sophisticated explanations and came to "The Theory of the Fundmentals and the Incidentals" of its own. Although it is criticized for obvious being out of balance, "The Theory of the Fundmentals and the Incidentals" is still attractive in the academic circles for its rich and unique reflection on humanity.
