教化的缘起及其意蕴

教化是与道德教育、教养紧密相关的概念,突出的是政治和道德方面的教育和感化。中国自西周起就有重视道德教育的传统,但那时的道德教育只是一种朴素的教育。春秋战国时期作为一种思想和理论荀子提出了教化的概念,到了西汉时期教化付诸社会政治生活实践,获得了教化的完整含义。教化是一个政治概念,是出于政治目的提出使用的概念;是德治概念,是德治的同意语,治理国家要靠或者主要靠道德教育和统治者的以身作则来实现;是社会化概念,教化是社会化的手段,是面向社会的全体成员的,是社会系统进行的教育。

Since XiZhou,there was a tradition that valued the civilization,but at that time it was just simpe.During the era of Chunqiu-Zhanguo,the philosopher Xun Zi introduced a new concept that is civilization,but the concept was not put into practice and social life until Xi Han Dynasty.The concept of civilization is a politics concept that just out of politics purpose and was used to control country with morality;it is the same with the morality education;it is a means of socialization and suits all the citizens.It is executed with a complete social system.
