| 摘 要： | "言意之辨"是我国古代玄学中的一个重要哲学命题,它不仅涉及到哲学认识论的一些问题,而且涉及到"道不可言"、"言不尽意"、"意不称物"等重要的有关语言局限的问题.本文着重从"言不尽意"理论的提出、发展以及它对后世文论的影响等方面,来认识人类语言在其所要表达的内容上存在的缺陷.

| Abstract: | The differentiation on language and meaning" is an important philosophical proposition in the ancient Chinese metaphysics. Not only does it concern in epistemology of philosophy, but is connected with language limits such as "meaning can not be shown in language", "language can not show meaning", "meaning can not be shown the signified" as well. This paper intends, from the appearance of the theory of "language can not show meaning", its progress and its influences on the later discussions, to get to know the defects in what is shown in human language performance. |
