摘 要: | 从跨文化交际的角度来看,不同语言词汇由于承栽的文化信息不同会产生一些差异,表现为:对等关系、平行关系、全空缺关系、半空缺关系和冲突关系;英汉两种语言中的文化特色词的字面意义和伴随意义的异同对跨文化交际会产生很大影响,因此,大学英语教学中应注重词汇的文化联想意义与跨文化交际相结合的理念。

An Analysis on Cultural-Associated Meanings and Intercultural Communication |

Abstract: | The present article classifies five different types of cultural-associated meanings in both English and Chinese-equivalent, parallel, vacant, semi-vacant and contradictory, according to the comparison and contrast of the denotation and connotation they convey. It is important for college students to be fully aware of the cultural-associated meanings to guarantee smooth intercultural communication. |
