扬雄美学思想的发展历程

按照扬雄对“文质”关系探讨领域的不同,其美学思想内在的发展历程可以分为三个发展阶段:创作大赋期间为第一阶段,主要表现为对形式美的追逐;撰写《太玄》期间为第二阶段,主要是研究真与美的关系;写作《法言》以后为第三阶段,主要研究人格精神美和美的内容与形式的关系。政治腐败、帝王荒淫是其转变之外因,对文学与美的关系的不懈探求是内因。

On the Course of Development of Yang Xiong's Aesthetic Thought

Subject to the fact that Yang Xiong has probed the relationship between Wen(elegance) and Zhi(plainness) from different perspectives,the course of development of his aesthetic thought falls under three stages: The first stage coincides with the period he wrote Da Fu in,largely characterized by his pursuit of beauty in form;the second,with the period he wrote Tai Xuan,focusing on the relationship between truth and beauty;and the third,with the period since the completion of his Fa Yan,stressing upon the beauty of personality,and the relationship between content and form of beauty.That that is so lies in the political corruption and the monarch's incontinent life as the external cause and in his untiring exploration of the relationship between literature and beauty.
