A Study of Colonialism Influence on Defoe's Literary Works

The literary works of the English novelist Daniel Defoe are always well known for great adventures and fighting spirits and the colonialism reflected in his works and attract wide attention. The present paper focuses on a new system-- construction and theory--study of colonialism influence on Defoe＇s literary works in terms of historical causes, expressive forms and social effects, aiming at bringing a more comprehensive, objective and profound study into Defoe＇s literary works.
