中国古代儒家的生态伦理是中国农耕经济的一大精神支柱。其主要特征包括天人合一的哲理基础 ,惜生爱命、物阜民丰的生态伦理责任观 ,以时禁发、斩养的行为模式 ,类比外推的构思方法等方面。应该说 ,儒家的生态伦理思想既反对暴殄天物、浪费资源 ,又不是宗教禁欲主义。其根本目标 ,就是在人的需求与自然资源之间求得平衡 ,以维护社会的生存与发展

Confucian style in ecological ethics

The ecological ethics of Confucians was a spiritual pillar for ancient China’s agricultural economy. Based on the theory that man was an integral part of nature, the ancient ethics also included the view of responsibility, the pattern of behavior and the method of conceiving. Confucian ethics is against the practice of wasting Nature’s bounties, but it is not religious ascetic. The fundamental aim is the harmony between the human needs and natural resources so as to maintain the existence and development of society.
