The Discussion about Constructing the Partnership between the Government and the Third Sector of China

The common values, the complementary governing function and the long history of cooperation have established the solid theory and real basis of the partnership between the government and the third sector of our country. With the growth of our civil society, constructing the partnership be- tween the government and the third sgctor of our country has already become one of the important strategic options for the reform and governance of Chinese government. The paper argues that to real- ize the government＇s cooperation with the third sector, establishing a new relation between the country and the society is the prerequisite, promoting the government reform is the key, and developing the third sector is the guarantee.
