将翻译美学理论与语句翻译实践密切结合,探究汉语“表情功能文本”语句英译的审美优化,指出译者在汉英语句翻译的译语构建中应按照“对应与代偿”的优化策略,恰当选择“形式美、音韵美、意象美”的审美优化层次及其优化类型,灵活采用“对等转换、层次转换、类型转换”的优化方法,努力实现“完全等效、功能等效、代偿等效”的审美艺术效果,最大程度地创造源语的审美情趣。

Aesthetic Optimization of Chinese-English Translation of Phrases and Sentences in Expressive Texts

From aesthetic perspective of translation studies,and based on practices of Chinese-English translation,this paper aims to probe into aesthetic optimization of Chinese-English translation of expressive-texts.The writer comes up with the idea that during the translation process,the translator must appropriately choose the most suitable form to attain three-level aesthetic optimization(beauty of form,beauty of sound,and beauty of image),together with the most suitable category on each corresponding level,choosing from the three methods of aesthetic optimization(equivalence shift,level shift,and category shift) in order to achieve aesthetic effects including complete effect,functional effect,and compensational effect,and maximize the aesthetic appeal of the original text.
