和谐社会的构建内在地要求各种经济、政治和文化利益在全体社会成员之间合理而平等地分配。教育公平是构建社会主义和谐社会的基础性工程,是社会公平在教育领域的延伸和体现,没有教育公平就实现不了社会公平。而现阶段,由于我国教育制度的体制性缺陷,导致公民受教育的机会不公平,并影响到整个社会的均衡发展。因此,必须改革、完善原有的教育体制框架,采取具体的政策措施,才能保证教育公平在我国得到充分体现,才能使社会成员的潜能、积极性和创造性得到最大限度的实现。从而更好地实现社会公平,构建和谐社会。
