曹著高续《红楼梦》的铁证——贾雨村续娶娇杏时的初仕背景异叙引发的思考

曹雪芹著高鹗续《红楼梦》是新红学派的一大功绩,近年多遭异议。贾雨村初仕时续娶娇杏事件叙述的前后不一为书中自证。他首次被革职前经历的两种说法均不合曹雪芹原意。其实情是:贾雨村中进士后先当一任知县而后擢升知府,赴任途中巧遇娇杏续娶为妾,不到一年被革职于知府任上,前后任官凡5年。高鹗续写雨村作知县时便娶娇杏是错断。历代步其后尘者甚众,以讹传讹,积重难返。此宗牵涉到贾府及诸多人物、事件的发展空间无法链接,甚至被误解为曹雪芹未及审改的舛错或败笔,由此可知高鹗暨后学辈与曹雪芹之间的巨大思想与艺术差距。这种前后不榫合恰恰铸成了曹雪芹著高鹗续《红楼梦》难以销匿的铁证。

The Fact that the Last Forty Chapters of The Dreams of Red Mansions Was a Continuation by Gao E Is beyond Doubt——A Debate Triggered by Controversies on the Background of Jia Yu-cun's First Taking Office When he Took Concubine

The New Academy of the Studies of The Dreams of Red Mansions claims that the great work of Cao Xue-qin is continued by Gao E. Yet this claim has met adverse opinions in recent years. This paper attempts to prove in the favor of the New Academy that the narration of Jia Yu-cun＇ s marrying Jiao Xing in Chapter ninety-two is in disagreement with that of Cao＇ s in Chapter two. And this is a conclusive proof as to the New Academy＇ s claim that the first eighty chapters is written by Cao whereas the last forty chapters is composed by Gao E. The reason is that both versions in the present controversies are against Cao＇ s intention. According to Cao＇ s narration, Jia got the title of Jinshi and took office as the head of a county. Soon after he wound up his term, he was promoted to a magistrate of a prefecture. On his way to office, he came across Jiao Xing and married her. However, he was ousted from office as magistrate. He served office for five years. The narration in Chapter ninety-two that Jia married Jiao Xing when he took office as a head of a county is contradictory to that of Cao and thus serves as a proof that the last forty chapters was a continuation by Gao E. And this misunderstanding of Cao＇ s intention is accepted by later scholars and made things worse. It results in the confused narration of many events which took place in the Jia family. Some scholars even wrongly blame Cao, saying that he did not give a careful reading of the draft after he finished writing this novel. This paper tries to show that these opinions are nothing other than a proof that the latter part of the novel was not written by Cao.
