| Abstract: | Chinese modernization of military technology began in the Westernization Movement.As the main supporter and leader of the Westernization Movement in early stage,Zeng Guofan played a pioneering role in promoting Chinese modernization of military technology through his social position and his view of technology,such as taking rational cognizance of military technology’s position and roles,creating the modern Chinese military technology cause,seeking and cultivating the modern military technology talents,to promote the modernization of Chinese military technology. |
