| Abstract: | Lao She and Zhang Ai-ling inherited and transformed the tradition of Chinese citizen novel respectively,and created two different styles of the genre.This thesis compares their particular styles from three aspects,i.e.,the content that one is traditional and the other is modern,the value standpoint that one is enlightening and the other is popular,and their respective stylistic features. |
