论大学德语教学中跨文化意识的培养

加强大学德语教学中跨文化意识的培养,是我国学术界和外语教学工作者共同关注的话题,是全球化发展和外语教学改革的必然要求。语言是文化的载体,承担着传递人类文化信息的使命,是文化的表现形式和重要组成部分;同时,文化影响着语言的发展。语言和文化本身是密不可分的。大学德语教学中跨文化意识的培养反映了语言与文化的内在关系。要培养跨文化意识,就必须培养优秀教师、改进教学内容、改变教学方法、抓住课外活动、优化考核方式。     

文学文本的跨文化阐释话语重建

文学文本的跨文化阐释中,义疏代表着从文字翻译与注释向阐释话语建构的转型,希伯来《圣经》的希腊文翻译阐释与中国佛经翻译阐释中都已经初步建构这种话语.其中意义重建又是理论的核心.中国阐释学发展中,宋明理学在话语重构中起了关键作用.中国宋明理学经过爱默生等人的重建,成为一种世界性的“新人文主义”思潮,产生了世界性的影响.     

跨文化交际中的汉语流行语翻译探索

汉语流行语是一种特殊的语言变体,具有超越语义特征之外的文化内涵。从跨文化交际的角度,对汉语流行语的翻译策略进行探析,认为在汉语流行语的汉英翻译中应考虑以下因素:一是明确汉语流行语汉英翻译的首要目的;二是预判由文化差异所带来的受众反应;三是熟悉源语和目标语的语体风格与规范。     

跨文化的解码与建构——论美国汉学家史景迁的孔子研究

美国著名汉学家史景迁（Jonathan D.Spence）从文化认知、文化比较的研究视域出发,对孔子进行了跨文化解读与传播。在史景迁＂去偶像化＂的观照方式下,孔子被解码、建构为具备鲜明个性特质的人文主义者及令人尊重的教育者形象。同时,史景迁致力于厘清西方一般认知中对孔子及其思想的诸多误读,并努力唤起西方受众对孔子当代意义的认同。     

Formal and Informal Community Care to Older Adults: Comparative Analysis of the United States and Great Britain

Support to frail elders is of international and growing importance. This article compared receipt of assistance with ADL limitations, home health help, any assistance received, and unmet needs in functionally impaired individuals aged 70 years old or older in the United States (n = 1847, 80% women, M _age = 80 years) and Great Britain (n = 1203, 57% women, M _age = 78 years). Informal and formal assistance levels were higher in Great Britain, and rates of unmet need did not differ across ADL domains measured. Receipt of formal and informal care were associated positively, which is consistent with both supplementary and complementary perspectives on the formal-informal care interface. Few individuals in either country received formal services alone. Results suggest that community-based formal support does not substitute for family help. Implications for family and economic policy are discussed.     

Young children's social withdrawal and teacher–child relationship quality: A cross-cultural comparison between the Netherlands and China

The present study investigated how young children's (5-to-8-year-olds) social inhibition and solitary behavior were associated with teacher–child relationship quality and whether these associations differed across the Netherlands and China. The Dutch sample included 35 teachers and 201 children (49% girls). The Chinese sample consisted of 19 teachers and 152 children (50% girls). Teachers rated children's social inhibition and solitary behavior, and their relationship (closeness, conflict) with each child. Multilevel linear modeling revealed that in both countries, social inhibition was associated negatively with closeness and solitary behavior was associated positively with conflict. These associations were equally strong in China and the Netherlands. One association differed across countries: Social inhibition was associated negatively with conflict in the Netherlands, whereas this association was not significant in China. As such, cultural values could affect how social inhibition links to teacher–child relationships. Caution is recommended when generalizing findings from one country to another country.     

大学英语教学中"3C"文化导入法的应用

培养学生的跨文化交际能力是外语教学的目的之一。＂3C＂文化导入法正是实现这一目标的有效教学手段。这一方法主要包含文化旁白、文化包和文化丛三种形式。文章以大学英语教学为研究对象,对课堂教学实例进行分析,其结果表明,＂3C＂文化导入法对于提高学生外语水平以及培养学生跨文化交际能力的过程中起到了十分重要的作用。     

Striving for Prestige in Samoa: A Comparison of Men,Women, and Fa’afafine

ABSTRACT

In numerous non-Western cultures around the world, a small but meaningful proportion of individuals occupy alternative gender categories beyond the man/woman binary. A substantial body of past research has shown that feminine, same-sex attracted males in Samoa—a nonbinary gender known as fa’afafine—are more altruistic toward their nieces and nephews than are Samoan men and women. The present study examined the degree to which these kin-directed altruistic tendencies of fa’afafine are motivated by striving for prestige, and hence demonstrating value, within their family. Results showed that cisgender men and women do not differ in the degree to which they seek familial recognition of their altruistic behavior toward nieces and nephews. However, compared to men, fa’afafine sought significantly more acknowledgment of this altruism. These results illustrate one proximate cognitive mechanism for the elevated kin-directed altruism of fa’afafine and highlight the importance of the sociocultural context in which these motivations develop.     

会议口译研究的社会学视角

几十年来会议口译的研究主要侧重经验性地描述和推断其认知过程,伴随着口译职业化的进程,越来越多的学者从社会学的角度重新审视口译活动与社会文化环境的关系。文章从介绍会议口译研究的社会学视角出发,主张把会议口译放在真实的社会文化语境中观察和分析以便更能展现口译活动中各方之间的关系及其作为跨文化交际活动的特点。     

跨文化交际对重庆高校留学生教育管理的启示

随着重庆市留学生规模的快速扩大,留学生日常生活环境不适应、语言交流障碍、教育环境满意度不高、人际交往面狭窄、心理问题突出、管理政策实施困难等因文化差异导致的冲突问题,日渐成为重庆市留学生教育发展的瓶颈。根据跨文化交际理论,实行“趋同”管理,建立多种形式的信息沟通网络,加强留学生管理人员的跨文化交际能力培训,充分挖掘留学生资源,加强留学生的社会支持等途径,将对重庆市高校留学生教育管理实践有重要意义。
