The use of detailed statistical data in customs reforms: The case of Madagascar

To carry out their various missions—collecting revenue, facilitating trade and ensuring security— many customs administrations have established a risk management unit. In developing countries, however, because of the lack of dedicated human and material resources, intelligence and risk analysis remain insufficiently developed. In view of the lack of resources, this article proposes a simple methodology aiming at detecting risky import operations. The mirror analysis first helps to identify and target products or sectors with the greatest risk. Based on the examination of customs declarations patterns (data mining), it is then possible to identify and target higher risk economic operators (importers and customs brokers). When implemented in Madagascar, this method has helped to reveal probable fraud cases in the context of current customs reforms.     

Reconstruction Chinese Cultural Views of International Students Based on Mirror Study

Cultural communication is not a simple "output-input" process. For foreigners, they undergone a process of "reception-cognition-mirror-recognition-expression" in the process of experiencing the Chinese culture. After introducing the mirror theory, it can be clearly found that the transmission of the Chinese culture is dynamic regarding its way, understanding, acceptance and reaction from the perspective of a community with shared future for mankind. We can understand the breadth and depth of their knowledge of the Chinese culture by analyzing international students' papers in this field, especially the influence of different cultural backgrounds on cultural transmission and identification. Starting from what kind of cultural mirror on the Chinese culture has been formed in their minds, we can put forward more effective strategies to establish and disseminate Chinese cultural image and build an ideal Chinese cultural view.     

百年中国文学的朝鲜叙事(英文)

东亚睦邻关系源远流长，近百年来却遭到严峻的挑战。在民族国家的多事之秋，中国文学和中华民族一道承担苦难，思考出路，在关注自己启蒙、救亡、独市和振兴的同时，也关注对自己的命运发生过深刻影响的国际力量，对朝鲜半岛民族国家的关注和认知具有特殊的文化情感和命运体悟。一百多年来，中国文学对朝鲜的认知经历了四个阶段：以朝鲜的亡国为鉴镜，反省危机四伏的中国现状；引朝鲜人民为共同抗敌、休戚与芡的战友；在南北朝鲜分裂的局面下，引北方为战友使南方处于缺席状态；在“华风”与“韩流”的互动中，把文学对韩国的认知推向穿透历史、牵连血性的深度。     

直接社会知觉与理解他心的神经现象学主张

他心问题是当代心智哲学和认知科学均关注的一个重要议题。欧陆现象学家对交互主体性的反思为解决他心问题中的困难提供了丰富的现象学遗产。扎哈维和加拉格尔概括地重构了他心问题的“现象学主张”,认为对他心的“体验式理解”是一种前反思的直接社会知觉,它无须借助反思性的理论推理与心智模拟来实现。因此,“现象学主张”质疑读心研究中的心智主义假设和普遍性假设,并对理解他心的诸分析进路的认识论谬误提出批判。在现象学自然化运动中发展起来的“神经现象学主张”则进一步提出理解他心的神经机制,即一种镜像神经元系统激活所启动的具身模拟。这将推进“现象学主张”对直接社会知觉在社会互动中首要地位的论证,并在神经科学与现象学的互惠约束中揭示出“笛卡尔式焦虑”是造成他心问题的认识论根源。     

两汉魏晋南北朝时期枣的长生意象的生成及其演变

为研究大枣仙话的产生及演变过程,以东汉铜镜铭文“上有仙人不知老,渴饮玉泉饥食枣”为基础,结合史料记载,对大枣仙话形成的原因及发展过程进行探讨。分析认为,大枣仙话在秦汉之际方仙道士的影响下产生,并作为独立的文学意象在文学作品中出现;魏晋南北朝时期是其鼎盛时期,后来逐渐衰落。

Mirror Neurons and Practices: A Response to Lizardo

Lizardo argues that The Social Theory of Practices is refuted by the discovery of mirror neurons. The book argues that the kind of sameness of tacit mental content assumed by practice theorists such as Bourdieu is fictional, because there is no actual process by which the same mental content can be transmitted. Mirror neurons, Lizardo claims, provide such a mechanism, as they imply that bodily automatisms, which can be understood as the basis of habitus and concepts, can be shared and copied from one person to another. This response to Lizardo points out that the Gallese arguments on which Lizardo relies relate to phylogenetic and universal body movements, not to the learned movements characteristic of practices, and that there is no sameness producing mechanism parallel to the genetic one.
