在文学名著影视改编渐成热势的当下,通过对1980年代以来中国现代文学名著电影改编的理论与实践研究,试图探寻电影与文学交互发展的历程,总结电影改编的得失成败,为今后文学名著的电影改编提供必要的经验总结与理论支持.     

海洋人类学的文化生态视角

在海洋人类学发展的早期,文化生态范式一直主导着海洋人类学的研究,并且直到今天仍有很重要的影响。海洋人类学的文化生态视角认为,海洋生态系统是产生特殊的海洋社会文化的原因,换而言之,也就是说海洋环境的限制和不确定性会导致人们对于生活特定的应对方式和适应策略,从而产生一个不同于陆地社会的社会文化类型。但是随着海洋人类学自身的发展,从20世纪80年代开始,学者们开始意识到文化生态范式的缺陷,并逐渐转向其他视角和主题的海洋人类学研究。     

从《古诗为焦仲卿妻作》的改编看现代自我建构

历史上的《古诗为焦仲卿妻作》本是一首爱情叙事诗,在中国现代戏剧史上曾先后七次被改编。呼应着五四时期"人的觉醒"的主题,从1917年欧阳予倩的京剧本到1935年季剑的五幕话剧,屡次的改编本都在借古人衣冠复活现代魂灵,凸显现代人在面对"爱的理想"和"家"这一有形牢笼或无形困境时的永恒挣扎,以及在妥协和反抗中现代自我觉醒的艰难。     

人口迁移与适应气候变化：西方争议与中国实践

当前,学界对于人口迁移是否属于适应气候变化的策略有正反两方面的观点。赞成者认为,迁移可以改善移民的生产生活条件和迁出地的生态环境;迁移是移民的生计策略;迁移带来的收入有利于迁出地的社区和家庭适应气候变化。反对者认为,气候变化引起的迁移是应对气候变化的失败,需要采取控制措施;迁移的结果通常是不理想的;强制性违背了受影响人口的意愿;迁移并不是在任何时候都适用的策略。通过对我国气候移民实践的分析发现：气候变化影响人口迁移动因,具有多元性,包括个体与家庭、政府干预和外部环境因素;迁移形式具有多样性,包括自发性、激励性和强制性等;在适应气候变化措施中,迁移与工程、技术性措施同等重要;迁移效果是非线性的,取决于移民政策与规划的制定、资源的整合与互济、工程的实施与管理、政府的移民理念等。为了更好地适应气候变化,需要将气候移民纳入适应气候变化战略规划、强化气候变化风险管理、为人口迁移与安置创造条件,逐步规范和完善迁移与安置政策与行动。

Communicative competence and the facilitating and perturbing factors in the socialisation of immigrant students

This work analyses the communicative competence and the factors that facilitate and perturb the socialisation of immigrant students in primary education. It provides greater knowledge concerning the relationship between the immigrant student's social and linguistic competence. It also analyses the presence of difficulties in the different language components (morphology, syntax, semantics and pragmatics). The sample is made up of a total of 326 immigrant students between 6 and 12 years of age, attending 10 different schools. The study demonstrates that immigrant students possess a low level of linguistic dominion. All the linguistic components analysed are affected, although greater difficulties are evident in morphology and syntax than in semantics and pragmatics. The relationship between linguistic competence and the factors that facilitate and perturb socialisation is underlined. This work concludes that there is a significant relation between semantics and pragmatics and several socialisation factors (leadership, aggressiveness–stubbornness and anxiety–shyness). The educational centres should be aware of the complicated learning process that immigrant students have to go through.     

Health Technology Literacy: A Transdisciplinary Framework for Consumer-Oriented Practice

Abstract

The present study developed a typology of self-reported coping strategies used by older adults in adapting to vision impairment using qualitative analyses. Narrative data were examined from three previous quantitative studies of adaptation to vision loss. Major themes in coping with vision loss included difficulty in balancing norms of independence with the functional losses resulting from eye disease, and the importance of the informal social network. Importantly, a number of coping mechanisms that have not been examined in prior quantitative work were identified through the present qualitative analyses. Implications of this typology of self-reported coping with age-related vision loss for research and practice are discussed.     

Adaptive Estimation of the Integral of Squared Regression Derivatives

A problem of estimating the integral of a squared regression function and of its squared derivatives has been addressed in a number of papers. For the case of a heteroscedastic model where smoothness of the underlying regression function, the design density, and the variance of errors are known, the asymptotically sharp minimax lower bound and a sharp estimator were found in Pastuchova & Khasminski (1989). However, there are apparently no results on the either rate optimal or sharp optimal adaptive, or data-driven, estimation when neither the degree of regression function smoothness nor design density, scale function and distribution of errors are known. After a brief review of main developments in non-parametric estimation of non-linear functionals, we suggest a simple adaptive estimator for the integral of a squared regression function and its derivatives and prove that it is sharp-optimal whenever the estimated derivative is sufficiently smooth.
