The anatomy lab has been studied by sociologists interested in professional socialization since the 1950s. This is because the act of dissecting a cadaver is thought to be foundational for both the student's medical knowledge and the development of the student's professional identity. In this paper, I revisit the anatomy lab both historically and ethnographically. Drawing on theoretical insights from the laboratory ethnography tradition within science and technology studies, I show that students use material artifacts in the lab to support their “surgical identity play.” This activity is structured by the laboratory's performative architecture even while it is unsupervised by anatomy faculty. While many analyses of professional socialization focus on how students learn to interact with patients during their training, I show that the anatomy lab experience is an important form of professional socialization because here students learn to employ surgical instruments, language, and dress, and begin to relate to each other as colleagues.  相似文献

幼儿园游戏与教学在学前教育研究中一直隶属于两个领域,尽管有学者提出了一些融合设想,但仍难脱二元论范畴。本研究立足于幼儿游戏本质追寻,并把游戏本质作为幼儿园教学的基本内核,游戏内部的自我控制感和教学外部目的性的平衡与结合,正是幼儿园教学的核心特质。这种思路既理清了幼儿园教学特殊性,又有利于打破目前学界对于二者关系的形形色色的二元论认识,有利于促进二者从对立走向统一。  相似文献

本研究以68名幼儿为研究对象,运用《游戏检核表》对其社会戏剧游戏水平进行调查,研究发现:4-6岁幼儿角色扮演、口语交流、互动和同伴支持水平高,游戏时间充分;但物品假装、如何进入游戏小组、问题解决和轮流技能较低。教师应通过明确自身角色、丰富幼儿游戏材料和经验、提升幼儿语言能力和社会交往技能促进幼儿社会戏剧游戏发展。  相似文献

Global guidelines for physical activity are not being met by most of the world’s youths, adults, and older adults. Family and friends who engage in physical activity across generations derive emotional, social, cognitive, and physical benefits from their interaction. Youths depend on adult assistance to travel long distances, adults are encumbered with obligations to work, and older adults often live more than 200 miles from their extended families. Intergenerational physical activity is difficult because generations are distant and lead busy lifestyles. Remotely played exergames can connect family and friends for intergenerational physical activity. Internet exergaming can help to make physical activity convenient and enjoyable as well as eliminate the effect of distance on playing with family and friends.  相似文献

In many countries today, digital technology and instant communication are embedded in children's everyday lives to the extent that their play frequently incorporates smartphones, the Internet and other technologies. In this paper, we explore the recent historical conditions within the New Zealand context that have increased the accessibility of these technologies and imbued them with particular meanings. We suggest that from a Foucauldian perspective, these technologies can be seen as a form of subtle disciplinary power using techniques of governmentality through which children's ways of thinking are shaped to benefit societal requirements of the current historical era.  相似文献

The notion of lesbian specificity must be understood in the context of heteronormative society. Heterosexual norms affect negotiations of power and sexual desire in lesbian relationships. This article discusses conditions for research into the social experiences of children with autism in real‐life contexts using material from case studies of two boys with autism and their friends in mainstream school settings. It is argued that essential conditions for research with children with autism in ordinary social contexts should include a participatory approach, take a wide perspective of group processes, and account for multiple influences on social behaviour. Socially focused, participatory research design allows the social competencies that children with autism do have to be seen and produces multiple perspectives on children's social activity. Children and adults thinking together and sharing their ideas about the nature of experience for a child with autism and their friends allows for shared interpretations and reduces the very real possibility of one researcher alone making wrong assumptions about the nature of the investigation.  相似文献

《萨勒姆女巫》是一部因个人过失在无序的世界中丧失身份进而在更高层次上实现道德升华、完成救赎的平民悲剧。米勒开拓性地塑造了一位平民悲剧英雄并表达了积极乐观的悲剧精神,激发了观众的共鸣和心灵净化之感。该剧专注于社会改造和道德净化,力图为陷于生存困境之人提供道德启谕。笔者在总结米勒独特悲剧观的基础上从荣格个体化理论的视角分析该剧主人公向悲剧英雄蜕变的心路历程,阐释该剧现代文化背景下具有普遍意义的道德关怀,挖掘其独特艺术魅力和深刻思想主旨。  相似文献
